I went to the GIVE Machine!

We received a testimonial from someone who actually tried the GIVE Machine.

 Please take a look.

I visited the GIVE Machine located in Otemachi, Tokyo!

What is a GIVE Machine?

“A GIVE Machine is like a vending machine, but for donations.

You can choose items such as clothing, food, or emergency supplies.

The full amount of money you donate for the item you select is sent directly to charitable organizations, where it is transformed into various forms of support for people in need.”

I headed to the Forest Plaza in OOTEMORIlocated on the B2 floor of Otemachi Tower, which is directly connected to Tokyo Metro Otemachi Station.

Just as I had seen on Instagram and Facebook, three red GIVE Machines—resembling vending machines—were set up, and staff members were present at the venue.

They kindly explained the donation process and payment methods right beside me, so even as a first-time visitor, I felt completely at ease.

Donation items ranged widely from 1,000 yen to 50,000 yen, making it easy for children to participate as well.

I even saw people who had been saving money in their GIVE Machine money box, and it made me feel that this is an event that naturally encourages not only adults but also children to join in!

I chose two items—vegetable seeds and an disaster-preparedness bottle—and made my donation in cash.

There are three payment options available: credit card, online payment, and cash.

The friend who came with me had a hard time deciding which item to donate, but was drawn to the item called “Light for a Home” and chose that one!

After the purchase, we watched the heartwarming animation on the GIVE Machine screen showing the gift being delivered, and it left us both feeling warm and happy. 🎄

Since it was the Saturday just before Christmas (December 20), many families were visiting the venue, and we even saw Santa Claus there. 🎅

After making our donation at the GIVE Machine, we were able to take a photo with Santa as well. 🎅

Since the venue is directly connected to the station and located in a busy area, it was filled with the sparkling, exciting atmosphere of the Christmas season.

It was a wonderful experience where I could feel the joy and warmth of choosing something that would be delivered to someone in need. 🌷
