The Giving Machine partner organization introduction Vol.3:
CARE International Japan
Recognizing that all people including women and girls must have equal opportunities and rights, CARE places women and girls at the center of its activities.
Those in the most vulnerable situations are impacted not only during disasters and emergencies, but also in their everyday lives.
Its work is focused on three core pillars:
1. Poverty reduction, 2. Gender equality, 3. Response to conflicts and natural disasters.

Introduction of the person in charge:
Mr. Mitsuya Kodama, National Director, shared his hopes by saying:
“Our activities cannot be sustained unless people find our work compelling enough to donate. I see the Giving Machine as an innovative approach that connects donors and NGOs in a fresh and engaging way.”
Ms. Miyoko Takaki, Marketing Director, also offered her positive thoughts:
“As someone who hopes donation opportunities will continue to grow in various forms, I find the Giving Machine to be a groundbreaking initiative. Its visually appealing and casual donation style is truly exciting, and I believe it offers a great chance to expand the circle of giving to new audiences. Holding it during the Christmas season as part of Giving December is a wonderful idea.”

With just one push on the Giving Machine, you can help light a beacon of hope for women and girls facing poverty and hardship.
At CARE International Japan, support goes beyond monetary donations. Through initiatives like “Collect for International Cooperation”, items such as books, unused stamps, and postcards can be donated. The organization also welcomes volunteers for a variety of roles.
